Overview

CenturyTel offers collocation in accordance with 47 USC 251 and any of CenturyTel's applicable collocation tariffs for the purpose of interconnection for the exchange of traffic with CenturyTel and/ or access to unbundled network elements. Collocation may be accomplished through caged, cageless or virtual arrangements if there is not adequate space.

Procedure

1. Collocation Requests and augments to existing collocation arrangements should be directed to the collocation manager in CenturyTel's Carrier Relations Department.

3. Collocation request: For each central office collocation request, a CLEC must:
   • a. Submit a completed collocation application to CenturyTel's collocation manager at 100 CenturyTel Drive, Monroe, LA 71203 (or via email at Max.Cox@CenturyTel.com ), and
   • b. Submit payment of an advance engineering/ quote-processing fee in the amount of $3,500.00 to Christie Brodtman at 100 CenturyTel Drive, Monroe, LA 71203.
     • i. This amount is non-refundable but is ultimately applied to the non-recurring charges that may be incurred as a result of the collocation.

   Note: The advance engineering / quote-processing fee amount may vary based on state specific rules and various other circumstances including the size and type of the collocation request and whether or not CenturyTel has applicable tariff rates.

4. Collocation augment: For a collocation augment, a CLEC must:
   • a. Submit a completed collocation application (clearly showing what needs to be augmented);
   • b. Based upon the size and extent of the project, there may be an engineering / quote processing fee. This amount will be submitted to the CLEC as a price quote.
5. Collocation Price Quote Process:
   When CenturyTel receives a completed collocation application and the applicable quote-processing fee, it will submit a price quote for completion of the request to the CLEC for approval. Upon the CLEC's approval, 50% of the non-recurring charges should be paid to CenturyTel to initiate the collocation.
